You’re on top of it — we’ll keep you there.
HCF, Defence Health or HIF? Usually no gap — depending on your cover.
Not guaranteed, and it varies by policy. We’ll confirm your cover before you come in.
You already see a dentist every six to twelve months and you’re simply after a new one — maybe you’ve moved to Canberra, or your old practice isn’t convenient any more. A thorough check-up and clean, without the longer work-up you don’t need.

If there’s a lot to work through, we’ll book you back in to talk it over properly.
Your first visit is about finding out what’s going on and agreeing your next step. When treatment is more involved, we’d rather set aside a proper appointment to go through your options and costs than rush it in the last five minutes of a check-up. Either way, you’ll always have a written quote with itemised costs before any work begins.
Prices shown are the total fee for that appointment and include everything listed on the card. We claim on the spot through HICAPS, so if you have private health cover you only pay the gap.
Treatment Fee Guides

Children’s Dental
Gentle check-ups, cleans, and fluoride treatment for kids:

Eligible children aged 2–17 may qualify for CDBS (bulk billed — no out-of-pocket cost).
Wisdom Teeth Removal
Cost varies based on complexity — simple erupted extractions differ from surgical removal of impacted teeth.

Dental Implants
Includes planning, surgery, and crown. Dental Embassy places and restores implants in-house — no referral needed. We’ll provide a detailed quote at your consultation.
Sedation
Added to any treatment. Choose your comfort level:
- Nitrous oxide (happy gas)
- Oral sedation
- IV sedation
Teeth Whitening
Professional in-chair and take-home options available. Ask us for a quote at your next visit.
Clear Aligners
Straighten your teeth discreetly with clear aligners. Payment plans available — we’ll quote after your consultation.
Health Fund & Government Schemes
We’re preferred providers with HCF, Defence Health, HIF and nib — which means lower out-of-pocket costs when you’re covered by one of these funds.
HCF, Defence Health and HIF members usually pay no gap on a check-up and clean — but it depends on your level of cover.
Not every policy is the same, and no gap isn’t guaranteed. Give us your membership details when you book and we’ll confirm exactly what you’re covered for before you come in — so there are no surprises at the front desk.
We accept all health funds and process your claim on the spot with HICAPS. Other accepted funds include Apia, Qantas Health, Suncorp, AAMI, ING, UnitedHealthcare Global, Priceline Health, and GreenPass.
Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS)
Eligible children aged 2–17 receive up to $1,131 in dental benefits over two calendar years. We bulk bill CDBS — no gap, no out-of-pocket cost.
Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA)
We accept DVA cards and bulk bill all covered dental services. If you’re a DVA card holder, bring your card to your appointment.

Common Questions About Fees
A new patient check-up starts from $189 for a 30-minute appointment (Empower) and goes up to $449 for a comprehensive 60-minute assessment with photos and a detailed treatment plan (Enhance). Any further treatment is quoted separately.
We accept all health funds and process claims on the spot with HICAPS. We are preferred providers for HCF, nib, Defence Health and HIF, which means higher rebates and often lower out-of-pocket costs for members of those funds.
Yes. Interest-free payment plans are available through Humm, ZIP and Afterpay. This applies to all treatments, so cost does not have to be a barrier to care.
Yes. We bulk-bill eligible children under the Medicare Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS), which covers up to $1,158 over two calendar years for children aged 0 to 17 in eligible families.
Yes. DVA Gold and White card holders are welcome. Eligible dental treatment is bulk-billed directly to the Department of Veterans Affairs with no out-of-pocket cost for covered services.
